EXCLUSIVE: “POLITICAL” SUPERMAN IGNITES FIRESTORM — EMERGENCY WARNER BROS. MEETINGS AS BACKLASH EXPLODES
#ShuterScoop can confirm that what began as a bold creative choice has now turned into a full-blown corporate panic. Inside Warner Bros., emergency meetings erupted this weekend after director James Gunn declared his new Superman reboot “a political story about an immigrant” — and told critics to “screw them.”
The result? A conservative backlash of Kryptonian proportions. #BoycottSuperman trended for 48 straight hours, while media personalities like Laura Ingraham and Clay Travis slammed the film as “agenda-driven garbage.” But now, the outrage isn’t just online — it’s inside the Warner Bros. executive suites.
“They’re freaking out,” one high-level source tells #ShuterScoop. “This is Snow White all over again. Months of PR nightmares, and no box office redemption.”
Executives are scrambling to revise marketing plans, rework press appearances, and—most notably—consider silencing Gunn. “They want him off the rest of the press tour,” another insider said. “He’s radioactive now.”
The fear? That what was meant to be a heroic reboot of one of cinema’s most iconic figures has become too politicized to succeed — and the film hasn’t even premiered.
“This should’ve been bulletproof,” the source adds. “Now they’re bracing for disaster. Superman was supposed to save the summer. Instead, he might sink it.”
EXCLUSIVE: KIM CATTRALL “BLINDSIDED” BY SURPRISE SAMANTHA JONES TEXT IN REBOOT
Kim Cattrall is not texting back.
Sources tell #ShuterScoop the actress was “completely blindsided” by the latest And Just Like That episode, in which her iconic character Samantha Jones reappeared via flirty text — a cameo she never authorized.
“She didn’t film it, didn’t write it, and didn’t approve it,” says one insider. “They used her character without her consent.”
Tension with Sarah Jessica Parker and producers is reigniting fast — and insiders say this might be the final nail for Kim.
“She’s done. They crossed a line.”
EXCLUSIVE: STEVEN TYLER STUNS IN LONDON — COMEBACK TALKS QUIETLY UNDERWAY
Steven Tyler rocked London this weekend — and fans are buzzing about a possible return.
At Black Sabbath’s farewell show, the Aerosmith legend shocked everyone by taking the stage and absolutely owning it. His performance of “Walk This Way” and “Immigrant Song” brought the crowd to its feet — and insiders say it wasn’t a one-off.
“He’s not rushing back full tim after his health scare,” one source says. “But that was a test run. He’s ready for more.”
Rumors of a Vegas residency or limited solo tour are gaining steam. The Demon of Screamin’ may be staging one last scream.
EXCLUSIVE: RYAN REYNOLDS BANNED FROM BLAKE LIVELY DEPOSITION — “LAWYERS SAID NO”
It’s not a movie — but it is full drama.
Sources tell #ShuterScoop that Ryan Reynolds wanted to attend wife Blake Lively’s deposition next week in her legal showdown with Justin Baldoni, but her legal team shut him down.
“They told him this isn’t Hollywood,” says one insider. “It’s a legal fight — and he’s a distraction.”
Blake agreed to go solo, though reluctantly. “She loves him, but this is war,” the source says.
Whether it shakes their famously strong marriage remains to be seen. But for now, Ryan’s role? Off camera, and off-limits.

In most states, the plaintiff is allowed to sit in on all depositions. If he isn't a party to the suit, the other side would've kicked him out had he tried to attend. If he is a party to the suit, he's entitled to be there but Baldonis lawyers would argue to the jury that Reynolds sat in Blake's depo to intimidate her or, alternatively, to make sure their stories line up. As Ryan's lawyer, I would dissuade him from attending to avoid those arguments from the other side. There is zero benefit to him attending. There's a lot of risk to him attending. But that's how they all go - not unique to Blake v. Justin
