In most states, the plaintiff is allowed to sit in on all depositions. If he isn't a party to the suit, the other side would've kicked him out had he tried to attend. If he is a party to the suit, he's entitled to be there but Baldonis lawyers would argue to the jury that Reynolds sat in Blake's depo to intimidate her or, alternatively, to make sure their stories line up. As Ryan's lawyer, I would dissuade him from attending to avoid those arguments from the other side. There is zero benefit to him attending. There's a lot of risk to him attending. But that's how they all go - not unique to Blake v. Justin
