SAVANNAH GUTHRIE WARNED NEW RANSOM NOTES WOULD COME WHEN SHE RETURNED TO TV — AND THEY DID
INSIDERS: “THE MOMENT SHE WAS BACK ON AIR, IT STARTED AGAIN”
Hello, hello, hello…
Savannah Guthrie was warned this would happen — specifically when she returned to television.
And insiders say the timing is no coincidence.
Within hours of stepping back onto Today, a fresh wave of ransom-style messages tied to her missing mother, Nancy, began surfacing — including two notes sent to TMZ the very same day she returned.
“She was told this would happen the moment she went back on TV,” one insider tells Naughty But Nice. “And sadly, it did.”
The reason is as troubling as it is predictable.

“Visibility brings opportunity,” the source explains. “And not just for real leads — but for people looking to cash in.”
Multiple new notes quickly followed her return — some repeating earlier claims, others offering new “information” in exchange for Bitcoin.
“It’s exactly what she feared,” the insider says. “People inserting themselves into the story for attention or money.”
For Savannah and her family, that creates an impossible situation.
“You can’t ignore any of it,” the source adds. “Because what if one is real?”
That’s the emotional toll.
“Every message brings hope — and then doubt,” the insider explains. “It’s exhausting.”
Still, those close to Savannah say she made a conscious choice to come back — knowing the risks.
“She understood the spotlight would amplify everything,” the source says. “The good — and the very dark.”
Translation?
“The moment she returned,” the insider says, “the noise came with her.”
