You know…this is getting TONS of undeserved attention when average Americans face terrible crimes every day. I have every sympathy (for now) for the Guthrie family & hope for mom’s safe return. But I’ll bet Savannah’s salary these many years can cover the ransom, should the family decide to pay in the absence of proof of life. I hate NBC but I’m w/ them on this.
It’s up to the family to pay ransom…or not. I would understand NBC paying ransom for Savannah if she was kidnapped. NBC is providing good security for Savannah and her children. I heard that NBC arranged for the family to stay in a large home within a gated area as the investigation continues.
They are not pressuring Savannah to return and probably are paying her until then.
Megyn Kelly said on a podcast the other night that these people run The Today Show with each of them having malice towards each other. Look at Hoda who is grinning from ear to ear! She's loving not being home with those two girls; and even though she volunteered to go to the Olympics in Savannah's stead, she'll gladly sit in her Today Show seat.
