Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Back in Jail—And This Time, She Won’t Save Him
Michael Lohan Is Behind Bars—Again.
The troubled father of actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested Sunday evening in West Palm Beach, Florida, after violating his probation following a February domestic violence incident involving his estranged wife, Kate Major.
And while Lindsay has bailed him out before, sources say this time, she’s done.
"She’s completely distanced herself from him," an insider close to the Mean Girls star tells Naughty But nice. "She’s not swooping in to save him this time."
The Arrest: What Happened?
Sheriff's deputies in Palm Beach County picked up Michael, 64, on an arrest warrant issued by his probation officer.
The violation stems from his February arrest in Harris County, Texas, where he was charged with Continuous Violence Against the Family after allegedly assaulting Kate Major at her home, where she lives with their sons.
Authorities say Lohan was not supposed to have any contact with Major—but he ignored the court order.
"This was the final straw," a law enforcement source says. "He just doesn’t seem to learn."
Lindsay’s Breaking Point
Lindsay, 38, has a long, complicated history with her father, often trying to help him despite his endless legal troubles.
2009: She publicly feuded with Michael after he released private voicemails of her crying.
2011: She cut ties with him after a drunken brawl with Kate Major made headlines. 2021: She tried to make peace, only for Michael to get arrested for an alleged rehab fraud scheme.
But now, sources say she’s washed her hands of him for good.
"Lindsay has her own life now," the insider shares. "She’s focusing on her family, her career, and her peace. She doesn’t want any part of his mess."
