Royal sources tell #ShuterScoop that Prince William is “strongly opposed” to his father’s surprise decision to thrust Princess Beatrice back into the royal spotlight — calling it “too soon” and “too risky.”
But King Charles, ever the sentimental monarch, overruled him.
Despite concerns from senior aides, the King personally approved Beatrice’s new patronage with the Outward Bound Trust, even dispatching her for a hospital visit in London this week — her first major solo outing in years. The move blindsided courtiers who believed the Yorks were still benched after Prince Andrew’s Epstein scandal.
“William wanted the Yorks out of sight until after the King’s next health review,” one insider sighs. “But His Majesty insisted — he thinks the family needs to heal in public.”

Sources tell #ShuterScoop that firebrand Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and The View’s Sunny Hostin have formed the most unlikely friendship - complete with late-night texts and mutual respect.
After a fiery on-air debate last month, Greene shocked everyone by privately thanking Hostin for a “respectful exchange.” A D.C. insider spills, “Sunny actually texted back a heart emoji — and that opened the floodgates.”
Since then, the two women have been trading friendly jabs and policy quips. “Are they besties? No,” says one congressional aide. “But the fact they’re texting and laughing is a miracle in this climate.”
Hostin remains cautious, privately telling friends Greene’s tone might be “strategic,” but the pair’s public civility is already turning heads.
One Hill watcher jokes, “If Marjorie Taylor Greene and Sunny Hostin can text without screaming, maybe there’s hope for Congress after all.”

Stonewall veteran Mark Segal, founder of the Philadelphia Gay News, tells #ShuterScoop the documentary “defames queer pioneers who helped build this country.” Chief among them: General Baron von Steuben, the Prussian officer who trained George Washington’s troops — and, historians agree, was openly gay.
“The only mention of von Steuben’s sexuality is a cheap slur about ‘taking familiarities with boys,’” fumes Segal. “That’s not history — that’s an insult.”
Critics note this isn’t Burns’ first blind spot. His Roosevelts skipped Eleanor Roosevelt’s relationship with journalist Lorena ‘Hick’ Hickok, while Vietnam ignored gay veteran Sgt. Leonard Matlovich, the poster boy for Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.
“Maybe he fears alienating donors,” veteran journalist Andy Humm tells us. “But it’s 2025 — LGBTQ history is American history.”
PBS had no comment, but Segal vows, “We will not be erased again.”

Charles is not the sentimental monarch! He is a fool and keeps f*** king up because he still is a delusional man with his arrogant entitlement just like Andrew thinking he will get away with whatever he wants and will get a pass from the public. He is ruining his own reign and the future of the British monarchy with continuing his life time path of poor judgement. He thinks that a good game of palace PR will save anything because that made possible for the mistress to be the queen.
Charles very likely may have “chemo brain,” which sounds hateful for those who recall the bridal Meghan accusing postpartum Catherine of suffering from “baby brain.” Like COVID, chemotherapy drugs exert powerful effects, notably on judgment and emotional lability. That is not a good thing for a monarch who already was notably tender about family matters.
