EXCLUSIVE: WILLIAM AND KATE REFUSE TO BE AROUND PRINCE ANDREW — “HE WAS FRIENDS WITH EPSTEIN. THEY WANT NO PART OF IT,” SAYS PAL
Skipping Easter? It’s not about cancer recovery anymore — it’s about boundaries.
Prince William and Princess Kate were once again absent from the royal Easter service at Windsor Castle — and while palace insiders tried to brush it off as a low-key family weekend, #ShuterScoop can confirm the truth: they refused to be in the same room as Prince Andrew.
“William has made it very clear — he wants nothing to do with his uncle,” a royal source tells #ShuterScoop. “He doesn’t want to stand next to him, speak to him, and he definitely doesn’t want his children anywhere near him.”
While King Charles led the service alongside Queen Camilla, and was flanked by his siblings — including the disgraced Prince Andrew — the future King and Queen of England chose to remain at their Norfolk estate with George, Charlotte, and Louis.
“It’s tricky for Charles,” the source admits. “Andrew is his brother, and he’s trying to keep the peace. But for William? It’s not tricky at all. He wants the rot cut out.”
Andrew, 65, has never faced criminal charges, but his longtime friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and his multi-million-pound settlement with Virginia Giuffre, have left a permanent stain on his public image — and, more importantly, his private standing with the next generation of royals.
“William sees it as a matter of principle,” says the insider. “There’s no gray area here. He doesn’t want to normalize Andrew’s presence at family events — not now, not ever.”
Kate, who last year was quietly battling cancer during the Easter break, is fully aligned with her husband’s decision this year.
“They’re united on this,” another palace source confirms. “It’s not personal. It’s moral. They’re raising their children with clear boundaries — and that includes keeping them far away from anyone tied to Epstein.”
While Charles continues to walk the diplomatic tightrope, William and Kate are quietly drawing their own line — even if that means breaking with tradition.
“The message is clear,” says the source. “This is a new era. And there’s no room for Prince Andrew in it.”
