EXCLUSIVE: WENDY WILLIAMS RUNNING OUT OF PATIENCE — “WHAT ARE THEY GONNA DO, THROW ME IN JAIL?”
The former queen of daytime TV is fighting to get her life back — and she’s not staying quiet any longer.
Wendy Williams has had enough — and insiders say the former talk show host is losing patience fast with the court-ordered guardianship that has kept her life under lock and key since 2022.
“She’s asking the same thing everyone else is — how long is this supposed to go on?” one source close to the situation told Naughty Gossip. “She’s ready for answers, not more waiting.”
The 60-year-old star is awaiting a new cognitive evaluation, a crucial step that could potentially shift her current legal status. But the process is still at the discretion of her guardian, attorney Sabrina Morrissey — and Wendy's team says the delay is wearing thin.
“What are they gonna do — arrest her for speaking up? Throw her in jail for wanting her own life back?” said one frustrated friend. “This is madness.”
Wendy’s family and fans have rallied behind her, pushing for transparency and questioning why the former media powerhouse continues to be shut out of decisions regarding her health, finances, and freedom.
“The system has stripped her of everything,” another insider added. “She’s not going down without a fight.”
Though Morrissey has previously hinted that a new evaluation likely wouldn't change Wendy’s prior diagnoses, insiders say the outpouring of love and support from fans — and pressure from family — has lit a fire under the former host.
“She’s hanging on. She’s determined,” the source said. “But she’s also furious. This this is a woman trapped, and ready to break free.”
