NICOLE KNOWS EVERYTHING AND THE KIDS ARE TEAM MOM
I’ve been talking to sources close to Nicole Kidman, and here’s the truth: Keith Urban gave up 50/50 custody of his kids because Nicole knows everything.
“Keith is a man with lots of secrets,” one insider explained. “Only Nicole and the kids really know him. That knowledge gave her the upper hand in custody. It’s why she got what she wanted — 306 days a year with Sunday and Faith. He initially wanted equal time, but Nicole played her cards perfectly.”
The girls’ needs also reinforced the decision.
“Both of them are teenagers,” the source added. “At this age, they want their mother more than their father. It made the arrangement easier to finalize, but the real reason Nicole got the majority of custody is because she knows everything.”
“Nicole has always been fiercely protective of her kids,” a friend said. “She knows what’s best, and Sunday and Faith made it crystal clear whose side they’re on. They’re Team Mom all the way.”
Money was an easy split thanks to a prenup. But the divorce even came with a playful dig — sources say Keith got the flat iron because Nicole now rocks her natural curls, which he never loved.
“He hated the curly hair,” the friend laughed. “Nicole got the curls, Keith got the iron — petty, but hilarious.”
The custody arrangement is now clear: Nicole has 306 days a year with the girls; Keith gets 59 days, mostly alternating weekends.
“Nicole will keep her mouth shut, keep the kids, and handle this like a pro,” one insider said. “Keith wanted the kids, but he had to accept it. Everyone close to them knows the girls are happiest this way.”
Keith may still be adjusting — missing birthdays and holidays has been tough — but sources say he understands the reality.
“He’s completely lost sometimes, but he knows Nicole has the kids’ best interests at heart,” one friend said. “And the girls? They love their mom — so everyone else backs off.”
