Hello, hello, hello...
Taylor Swift’s friendship with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds is over—and now sources tell Naughty But Nice the split has also ended her once-close relationship with the couple’s four children, all of whom she is godmother to.
For years, Taylor was part of the family’s inner circle. She famously honored the children by using the names James, Inez, and Betty in songs from her Folklore album, a tribute that reflected just how close they all were. But insiders say that chapter of her life has quietly come to an end.
“When Taylor’s friendship with Blake and Ryan ended, her role as an active godmother naturally faded too,” a source tells Naughty But Nice. “There wasn’t a falling out with the children. She simply isn’t part of their everyday lives anymore.”
The distance was impossible to ignore at Taylor and Travis Kelce’s lavish wedding celebration. Blake and Ryan were absent, and so were their four children—a striking change for a family that was once among Swift’s closest.
“That told the whole story,” another insider says. “Years ago they would have been front and center. Today, they’re no longer part of Taylor’s inner circle.”
My novel, It Started With A Whisper, is available now
Sources insist there is no bad blood between Swift and the children.
“Taylor still has love for those kids,” says the insider. “But relationships with children often depend on relationships with their parents. When the friendship ended, the connection naturally faded. It’s sad, but that’s the reality.”
