EXCLUSIVE: TAYLOR SWIFT AND TRAVIS KELCE'S WEDDING PLANS STILL ON HOLD
COUPLE FOCUSED ON EACH OTHER, NOT THE WEDDING YET
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are keeping their post-season date nights low-key — and, insiders say, that’s part of why wedding planning hasn’t kicked off.
The couple was spotted Monday at Funke in Beverly Hills, enjoying a quiet dinner after Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs endured a disappointing season. Swift, 36, wore a gray blazer over a pleated white skirt, while Kelce, also 36, sported a color-blocked button-up shirt.
Despite reports claiming the couple are set to marry on June 13 at Ocean House in Watch Hill, R.I., sources say the couple hasn’t moved into full wedding mode yet. “They’re not even halfway through the guest list,” a source tells me. “Right now it’s more about enjoying time together than crunching spreadsheets.”
Insiders say the couple is keeping things slow because of Kelce’s NFL season ending and uncertainty about his future. “Travis is still figuring out if he’s playing next year,” a source explains. “They don’t want to stress over a wedding when there’s so much else going on.”
Another insider notes, “Taylor is usually so meticulous about every detail, but with Travis, she’s relaxed. They’re taking it slow. The wedding isn’t stressing them out yet — they’re savoring the engagement.”
Kelce, meanwhile, admitted on the “New Heights” podcast, “I’m still figuring out if I’ll play next season. I want to make sure my body is ready, that I can commit fully.” Sources confirm that wedding planning hasn’t been a priority. “The ring’s on, but that’s about as far as it goes,” a close friend says. “No big meetings, no seating charts. They’re in date-night mode, not wedding mode.”
Swift and Kelce began dating in summer 2023, and Kelce proposed in August 2025. While fans anticipate the big day, sources say the couple is focused on enjoying their life together rather than rushing the details. “They’ll get to the planning,” the source laughs, “but right now, it’s all about them.”
