EXCLUSIVE: SNL CAST CALLED “ENTITLED NIGHTMARE” AFTER CHLOE FINEMAN MELTDOWN
“MOST OF THEM ARE JUST NOT GOOD PEOPLE TO BE AROUND"
The once-golden cast of Saturday Night Live is facing serious backlash — and insiders say it’s no longer just a few bad moments, it’s a full-on culture problem.
Sources tell #ShuterScoop that while not every cast member is entitled, arrogant, or impossible to be around, unfortunately, most of them are — and it’s sinking the entire vibe of the show.
“The energy backstage isn’t fun anymore — it’s toxic,” a longtime NBC source explains. “There are a few genuinely good people left, but most of the cast are a nightmare. It’s like a pack of mean girls and self-declared superstars — even though, honestly, no one outside of 30 Rock even knows their names.”
The latest example? Chloe Fineman’s TikTok meltdown, where she blasted the manager of upscale NYC hotspot Sant Ambroeus for daring to “scold” her about not having a reservation — right in front of real Hollywood royalty, Demi Moore.
Fineman, who's been on SNL since 2019, tried to spin the encounter as playful, but industry sources say it exposed a much deeper entitlement problem festering inside the once-revered sketch comedy institution.
“Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig — they earned their stardom. They made SNL a cultural force again," another insider shares. "Since then? Nothing. No breakout stars. Just inflated egos.”
And it's not just about fame.
“The worst part is, a lot of them just aren’t good people to be around," the insider adds. "It’s a miserable vibe — petty, jealous, cliquey. Not all of them, but way too many."
While a few bright spots remain, insiders say the bad energy is impossible to ignore — and it’s driving real talent away.
“SNL used to be where legends were made," the source says. "Now it’s a toxic playground for C-listers who think they’re Beyoncé.”
