EXCLUSIVE: HBO GAVE HER A HEADS-UP — BUT IT WAS FINAL, NOT A CONVERSATION
Sarah Jessica Parker is fuming after HBO quietly axed And Just Like That… — and while insiders confirm she was given a few months’ notice, it wasn’t a negotiation. It was a verdict.
“They told her — but it wasn’t a conversation,” one top source tells #ShuterScoop. “It was, ‘We’re done.’ No discussion. No collaboration. Just final.”
As the face of the Sex and the City empire and an executive producer of the reboot, SJP had already begun laying the groundwork for Season 4 — storylines, casting talks, and even internal brand extensions. “She thought they were building something long-term,” says a production insider. “She was all in.”
So when HBO delivered the news, she was blindsided by the tone.
“What stings most is how transactional it was,” the source adds. “No party. No tribute.”
Behind the scenes, the mood is bitter. “She made them billions. Syndication, streaming — she helped shape modern HBO,” says one former exec. “And they ended it like she was just another actress under contract.”
SJP has remained tight-lipped — but privately? “She’s pissed,” confirms a friend. “They treated her like a liability, not an icon.”
And just like that… the fairy tale ended with a slap.
EXCLUSIVE: COMEDY CLASH AT SNL — “WEEKEND UPDATE” WAR IGNITES BEHIND THE SCENES
BOWEN & MATT’S “JOKE” HAS COLIN & CHE SEEING RED
There’s nothing funny about this.
Saturday Night Live is facing serious behind-the-scenes tension after fan-favorite comics Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers joked about taking over Weekend Update — and longtime anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che are not laughing.
“This isn’t comedy to them — it’s a threat,” a high-level SNL insider tells #ShuterScoop. “They saw it as a calculated move.”
Yang and Rogers — who co-host the hit podcast Las Culturistas — have teased the idea in interviews and onstage, turning the idea of replacing Jost and Che into a viral bit. But with SNL approaching its new season, nerves are raw.
“Colin and Michael have been at that desk for a decade,” the insider explains. “They’ve weathered it all — ratings dips, political chaos, cast turnover. But now, with the show evolving and streaming audiences taking over, younger voices are pushing in.”
That includes Yang and Rogers, who boast a massive Gen Z following and have earned praise for their cultural savvy and queer-forward comedy.
“They’re strategic — don’t be fooled,” another source adds. “They know the power of fan momentum. This wasn’t random.”
And boss Lorne Michaels? “He’s watching every move,” says one NBC exec. “He knows the desk is legacy — but it also needs to stay relevant.”
Bottom line? A power shift is brewing at 30 Rock — and the punchlines are starting to land like punches.
EXCLUSIVE: TIM GUNN “DEEPLY HURT” BY HEIDI KLUM’S RETURN TO ‘PROJECT RUNWAY’ WITHOUT HIM
“SHE DIDN’T FIGHT FOR HIM,” SOURCES SAY — REPLACED BY YOUNGER STAR
Tim Gunn is heartbroken.
After decades of loyalty and collaboration, Gunn, 71, was left out of Project Runway’s major comeback — and insiders tell #ShuterScoop that Heidi Klum didn’t lift a finger to bring him along.
“He knew she was in talks to return,” one fashion insider dishes. “But he truly believed if she said yes, it would be with him. They had a pact.”
Instead, Klum returned solo — reuniting with Nina Garcia and Law Roach — while Gunn was replaced by millennial designer Christian Siriano, who’s known for viral red carpet moments and a younger social media following.
“Production wanted fresh blood,” the insider explains. “Someone with TikTok buzz, Instagram clout — and Christian checked all the boxes.”
But for Gunn, it’s personal.
“He left with Heidi. They launched a show on Amazon. They built a brand together,” says another source. “To see her go back without him — and not even push for him — that’s a deep cut.”
“He’s not petty,” says a longtime friend. “But he is human. And after everything they accomplished together, he deserved better.”
The fashion world may be moving on — but not everyone is ready to say goodbye to its most beloved mentor.
“Project Runway’s still stylish,” one insider says. “But without Tim? It’s lost its soul.”
