The brother in laws car has not been returned to them… let’s remember that. Still middle of March and while they say he is innocent and has nothing to do with it, then why hang onto the car? Also until the case is solved there is truly no way to know that anyone isn’t involved somehow even if you think you know them because they are family. They could hire someone, or somehow know the person inadvertently. You can’t take the sheriffs word for anything because he has been caught a million times backpedaling and contradicting himself every other day against what the FBI was saying. Unfortunately I think this case was pretty jumbled from the beginning and they have been playing catch up since. Banfield does have inside sources and other people on her show said they were hearing same thing… now if that direction changed it’s fine but at some point inside the FBI, at least for a while, there was something that made them feel that. MAybe after the camera images that changed… who knows. Savanna is wasting energy being mad at a colleague when she knows this is how the job is and Banfield was bringing necessary attention to her mom’s case.
Remember that she is saying that she said he "might be", not "is" in the video. But the thumbnail says "SON-IN-LAW PRIME SUSPECT" to grab attention, no "might" anywhere. And then she arrogantly doubled down when slammed by the Sheriff for "irresponsible" reporting. She's getting sued big time, and it's well deserved. She's just about "me, me, me" and being able to say that she got the "scoop" first. Her LE leaker is getting fired...at the very least.
They need to stay focused on finding mom
