Has Sarah Ferguson finally figured out how to disappear? Dye your hair blonde and head to Cape Town.
The former Duchess of York was spotted dining quietly at a restaurant in Table View with a younger blonde woman and a small dog — while apparently going completely unnoticed.
And there may be a reason nobody recognized Fergie.
She looked very different.
The eyewitness describes Sarah as blonde, noticeably slimmer and almost unrecognizable from the familiar redheaded Duchess Britain has watched for decades.
“Nobody had a clue it was Fergie,” the eyewitness tells Naughty But Nice. “The famous red hair was gone. She was blonde, much slimmer and looked completely different. Honestly, she had the perfect disguise.”
At one point, a five-year-old began petting Sarah’s dog, giving the family an unexpected close-up encounter. But the biggest surprise came after Ferguson left.
The family showed restaurant employees photographs of Sarah — and staff revealed she wasn’t exactly a stranger.
“They told us she was a regular and had been coming in for weeks,” the eyewitness tells Naughty But Nice. “That’s when we realized this wasn’t a quick dinner. Fergie had apparently been hiding in plain sight.”
Back on July 27, Naughty But Nice was first to report that Sarah was planning a return to the UK and had been searching for a new private sanctuary after her Swiss hideaway became public.

Now we may know where she went before coming home.

“Nobody stared. Nobody bothered her,” says the eyewitness. “For once, Sarah Ferguson wasn’t Fergie. She was just another blonde having dinner.”
