They are doing what the parents couldn’t. Providing tough love and not enabling him. The don’t have a parents love toward him and I would imagine they have to pull away for self preservation. They can’t get sucked into his bad behavior. I’m sure they are tired of his behavior. He needs to do the work on his own to get better. Maybe he will maybe he won’t.
