EXCLUSIVE: REAL HOUSEWIVES PRODUCER CLAIMS BRAVO FIRED HIM OVER ONLYFANS
From Housewives to Hot Content — and Now, Fired?
Bravo reality producer Patrick McDonald is coming forward with explosive claims, alleging that his side hustle on OnlyFans got him blacklisted from working on the Real Housewives franchise.
McDonald — a longtime behind-the-scenes figure in the Bravo-verse — says his adult content work as “ThiccTrick1” was the real reason the network “iced him out” over the past year.
“I’m not an idiot,” McDonald says. “I knew there was a risk. But it’s 2025 — Housewives cast members have fan sites, so why is it different for someone behind the scenes?”
McDonald, who rose through the ranks from Married to Medicine logger to supervising producer on Vanderpump Rules, RHOBH, and RHOC, says things changed after he started creating adult content in August 2024 — including with his boyfriend Logan Stevens for platforms like OnlyFans and JustForFans.
“I stopped hearing from the Beverly Hills and Orange County teams,” he reveals. “Suddenly I was out.”
For full transparency: Patrick was also a producer on my VH1 morning show, The Gossip Table. His passion for pop culture and behind-the-scenes hustle was undeniable — long before he became a name in the Bravo world.
He pulls back the curtain on what he describes as a “toxic work culture” behind the reality TV glam — including overworked crews, “egomaniacal showrunners,” and a deeply problematic storyline involving a cast member’s sexuality.
“Producers were encouraging other cast members to ask invasive, personal questions,” McDonald said. “It felt like it crossed a line, and I wasn’t comfortable being part of it.”
He even alleges that a senior executive used a homophobic slur, though he declined to name the show or individual involved.
McDonald, who once dabbled in adult content under the name Ace Arborwood after starring on the 2017 Logo reality show Fire Island, says his return to the industry last year was about empowerment — not shock value.
“Sex work is real, legitimate work, and it has been since the dawn of humanity,” he says. “I’m proud of what I’ve done at Bravo — and just as proud of the work I’m doing now.”
He also called out the hypocrisy of Bravo’s alleged reaction, noting that Housewives like Larsa Pippen and Denise Richards have openly embraced platforms like OnlyFans.
Bottom line?
The Bravo world may be full of diamonds and drama, but McDonald’s claims suggest the real mess might be happening behind the camera — not just in front of it.
