EXCLUSIVE: RAMONA SINGER FLOATING POLITICAL RUN IN FLORIDA — “SHE THINKS SHE’S THE NEXT MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE”
Insiders say she’s eyeing the Sunshine State ballot
Ramona Singer may have traded the Upper East Side for South Florida, but sources say the former Real Housewives of New York City star isn’t done chasing the spotlight — and she’s got politics on her mind.
“Ramona is seriously considering a run for office,” a Palm Beach socialite tells #ShuterScoop. “She’s been talking to conservative donors and wants to frame herself as a no-nonsense, straight-talking woman of the people. The problem is... she’s Ramona.”
The chatter comes days after Singer, 68, sparked outrage for posting a smiling photo with Daniel Penny, the Marine acquitted in the chokehold death of Jordan Neely. “So proud Daniel Penny !! #apennysaved #hero,” she captioned it, sending her comment section — and public image — into chaos.
“She’s doubling down because she sees it as her brand now,” says a former Bravo producer. “Controversy fuels her. She thinks this makes her relevant again.”
But insiders say the Daniel Penny photo was no accident — it’s part of a deliberate attempt to pivot into MAGA-style politics, possibly in a Florida House or local Palm Beach County race.
“She’s already got a base of followers, she’s wealthy, and she’s friends with a lot of conservative players,” says one GOP strategist. “Don’t laugh — in Florida, that’s enough to land a seat.”
Still, not everyone’s buying it. “She’s the last person who should be representing anyone,” scoffs a former RHONY castmate. “She can’t even handle a reunion taping without storming off.”
Singer, who’s been accused multiple times of racism, including using a slur during filming and texting “NWord” to a Page Six reporter, is already drawing backlash from both political sides.
“She’s always believed she was ‘misunderstood,’” a source close to the reality star tells #ShuterScoop. “Now she’s spinning that into a political narrative: that she’s a truth-teller being silenced. It’s classic Ramona delusion — but it’s also dangerous.”
As one fed-up Bravo insider puts it: “She’s not running for office because she wants to serve. She just misses the camera.”
#ShuterScoop — where Bravo villains never die, they just run for office in Florida.
