Patrick Schwarzenegger is spiraling — and fast.
Sources tell Rob Shuter’s Substack that the White Lotus actor is in full-blown panic mode after the series’ now-infamous incest scene aired this past Sunday… and promptly sent ratings down by nearly 10%.
“Patrick thought this would be his breakthrough moment,” one well-placed insider shares. “Instead, he’s waking up to headlines about incest, ratings drops, and people asking if he’s ruined his career.”
The controversial scene — featuring Patrick — was meant to push boundaries. Instead, it sent viewers running for the remote. Linear viewership fell to 740,000, down from 828,000 the week before.
“Even HBO was blindsided,” a network insider admits. “They expected buzz. They got backlash.”
While the streaming numbers across Max and other platforms still reached a solid 4.2 million, insiders say that watercooler chatter has taken a dark turn.
