INSIDERS SAY INVITES VANISHED, CALLS STOPPED, AND THE INDUSTRY TURNED ITS BACK

Darlings, Nicki Minaj will not be attending the 2026 Met Gala — and insiders tell me this was no scheduling mix-up.

It was a freeze-out.

“Nicki’s invitations didn’t just slow down — they vanished,” one industry insider tells me. “Hollywood stopped returning her calls. This isn’t subtle anymore. She’s been shut out.”

Sources say what began as quiet distancing has now hardened into something far more definitive.

“There’s an invisible wall around her now,” another source explains. “And no one wants to be seen opening the gate.”

Many insiders point to one moment as the turning point:

December 21, 2025.

That’s when Minaj made a surprise appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, sitting down for a high-profile onstage interview that sent shockwaves through the industry.

Onstage, she praised Donald Trump and JD Vance, calling them “role models,” walked back her past criticism of Trump, and declared, “It’s OK to change your mind.”

She also attacked Gavin Newsom, criticized transgender healthcare for minors, and spoke about Christian persecution abroad — all while urging artists to be allowed to “think out loud” without consequences.

According to insiders, that appearance sealed her fate.

“That was it,” one source says flatly. “Hollywood doesn’t forgive this kind of alignment — especially when it’s loud and unapologetic.”

“Once she went full MAGA on that stage,” another insider adds, “the door didn’t just close — it locked.”

Complicating matters further is Minaj’s very public feud with Roc Nation, where she has accused executives of withholding massive equity, sabotaging her career, and favoring Kendrick Lamar over Lil Wayne for the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

“Between the politics and the Roc Nation war, nobody wants to touch this,” a source tells me.
“There’s no formal ban — just a collective step back.”

And in Hollywood, that silence speaks volumes.

“She’s radioactive right now,” a third insider says. “And in this town, that’s the kiss of death.”

For now, Nicki remains on the outside looking in — as Hollywood quietly, decisively, and without explanation keeps its distance.
