EXCLUSIVE: NFL BLAMES JAY-Z FOR SUPER BOWL HALFTIME CHAOS
The NFL is fuming — and this time it has nothing to do with referees.
Sources tell #ShuterScoop that league brass are “furious” with Jay-Z and Roc Nation after realizing Taylor Swift was never formally offered next year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, despite weeks of frenzied headlines claiming she was the frontrunner.
“Everyone inside the NFL thought Taylor was officially offered the gig,” says one top insider. “But there was never a real offer — just some light chatter.”
Instead, Jay-Z had Bad Bunny in mind all along, believing the Latin megastar would bring global energy. “He was polite with Taylor’s team but never serious,” adds the source.
Now the NFL feels misled — and humiliated. “They look like amateurs,” says another insider. “The rumor ran wild, and Jay let it.”
Swift’s camp, however, isn’t losing sleep. Between her record-breaking Life of a Showgirl release and her engagement to Travis Kelce, she’s got bigger stages to command.
As one exec quipped, “Taylor doesn’t need the Super Bowl — the Super Bowl needs Taylor.”
EXCLUSIVE: MARIO LOPEZ VS. DEREK HOUGH — RED CARPET WAR ERUPTS!
Hollywood’s fiercest showdown is happening on the red carpet!
#ShuterScoop has learned that TV veterans Mario Lopez and Derek Hough are battling for domination as the industry’s go-to celebrity whisperers.
“Mario’s been the king of the carpet for years,” says one publicist. “Every A-lister stops for him — J.Lo, Tom Cruise, you name it.” But Derek’s arrival as Extra’s new host has shaken things up. “Producers love Derek’s energy. He’s got youth, polish, and those dancing-with-the-stars charm points.”
The tension? Palpable. “When their crews cross paths, sparks fly,” says a longtime wrangler. “Mario hates losing a booking, and Derek’s tired of being treated like the new kid.”
For now, Mario’s reputation keeps him on top — but Derek’s fan appeal is growing fast. “This is the new entertainment arms race,” an insider laughs. “Whoever lands the bigger stars wins — and neither’s backing down.”
EXCLUSIVE: ‘SEX AND THE CITY’ WAS A HOTBED OF TOXIC BEHAVIOR — KRISTIN DAVIS APOLOGIZES TO BRIDGET MOYNAHAN!
It turns out Sex and the City wasn’t all cosmos and girl talk. Behind the couture, insiders tell #ShuterScoop the HBO hit was a battlefield of egos, cold shoulders, and silent wars.
The latest shocker: Kristin Davis publicly apologized to Bridget Moynahan for snubbing her on set. On iHeartRadio’s Are You A Charlotte? podcast, Davis admitted, “I don’t think I was that nice to you.” Moynahan laughed it off, replying, “It’s OK now.” But insiders say it’s reopening old wounds.
“There were years of tension,” says a former crew member. “Kim and Sarah Jessica barely spoke off camera. They’d film emotional scenes and then walk off in silence.” Cynthia Nixon also clashed with writers, fighting to give Miranda more depth.
As the revival And Just Like That ends, Davis’s confession is sparking fresh debate about what really went down on set. “They sold friendship to the world,” says one insider, “but backstage, it was handbags full of toxic energy.”
EXCLUSIVE: GEORGE CLOONEY’S WILD PAST “WAY WORSE” THAN HE ADMITS — FRIENDS SAY HE’S SOFTENING THE TRUTH!
Multiple insiders tell #ShuterScoop that the Oscar winner’s wild Hollywood youth was far darker — and far wilder — than he lets on.
“George is giving the PG version,” a longtime friend admits. “In the early ’80s he was everywhere — afterparties, Sunset Strip dives, all-night chaos.” Another insider recalls one infamous night when “he mixed blow with bourbon and tried to do stand-up in someone’s kitchen.”
“He wasn’t a train wreck,” the source adds, “but he definitely pushed limits. The man thought he was untouchable.”
Now 64, Clooney has long cleaned up his act — husband, father, humanitarian — but those who knew him then say he’s rewriting history. “He’s not lying,” says one PR veteran, “he’s protecting his legacy.”
Still, the legend lives on. As one Hollywood insider put it: “The George Clooney of 1982 could out-party anyone — and still look like a movie star doing it.”
