The Met Gala is so ghetto these days. Where is the true Hollywood royalty? People are put off by the reality stars and now the influencers.
I have read about influencers DEMANDING they get their meals comped in upscale restaurants or threatening to leave a bad review on social media. This despite the fact they are no more qualified to comment on gourmet cuisine or ambiance than the average person. The NY Post had an article where some nice restaurants are insisting on no smartphones in a bid to protect the ambience.
The Met Gala can still be relevant but Wintour needs to weed out people with a known history of behaving badly.
I would have banned trump Jesus and Melania as well as Bezos and his botox arm ornament. The circus is not wanted and this is exactly why it is taking a nose dive! Billionaire Bezos, Lauren and all their sidekicks are the heart of the problem. Anna should stop letting the Rif Raf in and go back to the original elegance, respect, and sophistication we loved about Vogue. Without Anna Wintour it will never be right.
