EXCLUSIVE: MELANIA FREEZES IVANKA OUT OF ‘MELANIA’ DOC PREMIERE
AS KENNEDY CENTER MELTDOWN CONTINUES
Melania Trump is finally stepping into the spotlight — and sources confirm she’s making sure Ivanka stays firmly in the shadows. Insiders tell me the First Lady barred Ivanka from attending the January 29 premiere of her long-delayed, Amazon-backed documentary Melania at the increasingly embattled Kennedy Center. “Melania wants this night all to herself,” one source whispered. “When the spotlight’s this dim, no one’s sharing it.”
After more than a year in production and a $40 million Amazon deal, the glossy doc is being positioned as a prestige event — though industry insiders snicker at the hype.
Directed by disgraced filmmaker Brett Ratner, the film follows Melania through the first weeks of 2025. “It’s Melania, front and center, no interruptions,” another source said. “She’s drawing a line. Ivanka knows her place.”
Ivanka, for her part, spoke to friends about the snub: “Of course it hurts, but I’m not surprised.”
Ivanka has been conspicuously absent from D.C., ringing in the New Year in Aspen while her father reshapes the cultural landscape in his own image. Meanwhile, the Melania premiere is expected to attract high-profile attendees, including Jeff Bezos and Lauren, as the First Lady finally seizes her moment — alone.
Remember — if you’re going to be naughty, you’ve got to be nice.
Cheers,
Rob Shuter
