Meghan Markle has delivered a tough message to Prince Harry behind the gates of their Montecito mansion: it’s time to contribute more financially.
Sources tell Naughty But Nice that growing concerns about maintaining the couple’s high-profile California lifestyle have created tension at home, with Meghan increasingly frustrated that she has become the family’s primary breadwinner.
“Meghan finally told Harry he needs to step up financially,” one insider reveals. “She’s driving the business deals, managing the brand, and thinking about the future. She’s tired of feeling like the only one focused on keeping the money flowing.”
Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have built a life that comes with significant expenses, including private security, staff, luxury travel, and the upkeep of their sprawling Montecito estate.
While Meghan has expanded her business portfolio through entertainment ventures and her lifestyle brand, As Ever, insiders say Harry has remained focused on charitable work and passion projects rather than major commercial opportunities.
“Harry still approaches life like a royal,” says a source. “He wants purpose-driven work, while Meghan is looking at the numbers and asking how everything gets paid for.

It’s very hard to live a great love story ( I paraphrase Wallis Simpson) when your wallet is light. That’s why Prince Harry is making efforts to go back to the UK. He thought he could go on a “freedom flight” and file all these lawsuits and for what? Spending most of his inheritance. His poor kids won’t be able to live the life of royals thanks to his bad judgment (in my opinion).
I have to say....I am getting whiplash from all the truth, lies or just plain being served up more slop on a plate of spin? They are on the brink of Divorce and live separate lives, have little in common? They are deeply in love and will never Divorce? They have money, they have no money. All I know is these two are despicable human beings the way they treat their families. Their actions or lack there of ....are what I can see and believe. The rest ..? Until I see or hear it from the palace or Prince William, I will take a wait and see attitude. Their track record for "Spin" is well known.
