Meghan Markle is making a sharp social U-turn — and insiders say Lauren Sánchez is the reason.

Sources tell Naughty But Nice that Meghan once dismissed Lauren as little more than a flashy tabloid fixture: a weekend TV host, a headline-making mistress, and exactly the kind of woman Meghan never considered serious.

“Meghan thought Lauren was loud, thirsty, and painfully performative,” one insider says. “She smiled to her face, then tore her apart behind her back. Lauren was never someone Meghan took seriously.”

When Lauren’s romance with Jeff Bezos first exploded into public view, Meghan — like many in her circle — assumed it would burn bright and burn out fast. A glamorous distraction. A scandal with an expiration date.

She was wrong. And that was Meghan’s mistake.

But insiders say the real reason Meghan first dismissed Lauren had less to do with status and more to do with recognition.

“Lauren reminded Meghan of Meghan,” the source says. “That was always the real issue. One married a billionaire pretending to be a prince. The other married a prince pretending to have billions.”
