EXCLUSIVE: MEGHAN MARKLE PLANS TO BRING KING CHARLES A JAR OF HER JAM AS A PEACE OFFERING
Hello, hello, hello...
Meghan Markle is hoping to arrive in Britain next month with more than an olive branch.
Sources tell Naughty But Nice that the Duchess of Sussex plans to present King Charles with a selection of products from her As Ever lifestyle brand—including her signature jams and preserves—when the pair reunite.
“Meghan knows the King loves gardening, organic produce, and homemade foods,” a source tells Naughty But Nice. “She believes the jams are thoughtful because they’re something she created herself. She wants the gift to feel personal, not extravagant.”
The timing, however, has raised eyebrows.
As speculation grows over Meghan’s first UK visit in years, she has simultaneously ramped up promotion of As Ever, posting carefully curated social media videos showcasing baskets of fruit, tea, and her latest products.
“That’s the dilemma with Meghan,” says a royal insider. “Is it a heartfelt peace offering or brilliant brand marketing? With her, those two things often happen at the same time.”
Those close to the Duchess insist there’s no hidden agenda.
“She’s not expecting the King to post about the jam on Instagram,” laughs one source. “She simply wants to arrive with something warm and homemade instead of an expensive royal-style gift.”
Still, palace insiders are skeptical.
My novel, It Started With A Whisper, is available now
“The Palace has seen plenty of reconciliation gestures over the years,” says an insider. “This may be the first one that comes with a product label. Some people will find it charming. Others will wonder if the gift doubles as free advertising.”
One thing is certain: when the reunion happens, people won’t just be watching the conversation—they’ll be looking to see what’s inside the gift basket.

And remember, if you’re going to be naughty, you’ve got to be nice. 💋

Talk about bringing coal to Newcastle. He has his own line of food, Waitrose Duchy Organics, which is highly regarded.
Nothing like a jar of jam with an expiration day of next week.
