I disagree. Meghan does not need an "excuse" to stay in California. The UK should be happy/grateful to have her set foot on their soil. When she visits, she will make a good impact on those she will personally encounter. She may visit old charities and possibly some new ones and those charities will positively benefit from her mere presence.
Both Prince Harry and Meghan will keep their titles. Is Prince William that petty, vindictive and small-minded? Meghan is everything royalty should be. She is smart, kind and articulate. It also doesn’t hurt that she is drop dead gorgeous. Both she and Harry always make a positive impact. That type of relevancy will continue to be celebrated and admired.
They will lose their titles — they’re making a mockery of the British royal family. I don’t know what planet you’re living on, but on this one the Sussexes are a global laughing stock.
And most importantly — the only thing that actually matters — Britons want them stripped of their royal titles.

A global laughingstock would not have a Netflix show that ranked in the Top 10 within several countries and As Ever stock that continues to sell out just within the US. Are both continually recognized for being philanthropic ambassadors. The list goes on...
