King Charles is not going anywhere.

Despite the tidal wave of headlines following Andrew’s arrest, palace insiders tell Naughty But Nice that an emergency royal summit ended with one unmistakable conclusion: abdication is not happening — and the family is united behind the monarch.

Queen Camilla, Prince William, Catherine, Princess of Wales, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward were all consulted

“Abdication wasn’t even whispered,” one senior royal source tells me. “The King is staying. Full stop.”

While public pressure has intensified in the wake of Andrew’s arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office, insiders say the mood inside the palace is controlled — not chaotic.

“This is Andrew’s crisis, not the Crown’s,” another palace insider says sharply. “Charles already cut him loose. That chapter is closed.”

According to sources, William and Anne were particularly resolute during discussions.

“Stability is non-negotiable,” one aide says. “You don’t detonate the monarchy because one member implodes.”

Charles has publicly declared that “the law must take its course,” and that remains the guiding principle.

“The strategy is simple,” a senior royal watcher notes. “Cooperate. Contain. Protect the institution.”

Another insider is even more direct:

“The monarchy has survived wars, abdications, and scandals. It’s not folding now.”

Inside palace walls, the tone is firm.

The King stays.
