In a twist no one saw coming, King Charles III is floating a dramatic idea: offering Royal Lodge — the former Windsor home of Andrew — to Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Yes, that Royal Lodge.
The 30-room mansion, recently vacated by Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, is currently sitting empty — expensive to maintain, in need of serious repairs, and weighed down by years of controversy.
“This would be the ultimate olive branch,” one royal insider tells me. “Charles wants unity. Offering Harry a significant Windsor property would send a powerful message that the door is still open.”

But not everyone thinks it’s a fairy-tale ending.
“The optics are tricky,” another source cautions. “Moving Harry and Meghan into Andrew’s old house ties them to a property that’s become synonymous with scandal. That’s a lot of baggage.”
Harry and Meghan, now firmly based in California, haven’t publicly signaled any plans to return to royal life full-time. Still, whispers inside palace walls suggest Charles is determined to keep the lines of communication open.
“It’s about keeping family close — geographically and emotionally,” a source adds. “Whether they accept is another matter.”

What a load of ***. As usual, a weak and needy King who will burn down the monarchy because he can't stand up for his country over his stupid and harmful son. Disgusting.
Rob...if this is true.... I really think seriously they should check King Charles to see what his medications are doing to him or to see if the cancer has spread to his brain. Because I really cannot understand how he could think that this is a good idea or that anyone would support this plan. Just my opinion but is he so out of touch with how close he is to permanently damaging the monarchy and/or losing everything. The Queen had Tony Blair to advise her when Princess Diana died, how the people of her country were so angry with her for staying in Scotland and her perceived lack of empathy. She listened and went back to London to fix it. Clearly King Charles is so dug in and stubborn that his arrogance is going to be the end of the monarchy. I cannot imagine what William must be going through. Maybe Prince William is thinking ....that if the King destroys the future of the monarchy....William and his family might just be better off to be rid of this mess entirely. The King is delusional.
