Furthermore, Andrew and Fergie still technically hold the Duke and Duchess of York titles; only an Act of Parliament can fully remove these.

Leadership requires challenging and selfless confrontation, tough and timely decision making with appropriate consequence. Being the monarch is not just a soft ceremonial job to wear fancy robes, decorous uniforms and kilts. Princess Ann would have been more like QE2.
A shame. Charles really should listen to William. Strip all titles now from Harry and Meghan and give William and the Monarchy an easier path forward in future. King Charles did not listen to the Queen many many times and now he is not listening to his heir to the Throne. Big mistake. Charles has always seemed rather soft and spineless - a kumbaya personality in a dog-eat-dog world.
