EXCLUSIVE: JONAS BROTHERS BOMBSHELL! FRANKIE BEING GROOMED TO REPLACE NICK
“Nick’s already out the door — the tour is just a farewell,” spills insider. “It’s Frankie’s turn now.”
Call it a Bonus Jonas glow-up — or maybe just smart business.
Sources tell Rob Shuter’s Substack that the rarely-glimpsed younger brother, Frankie Jonas, is being groomed to slide into Nick Jonas’s spot in the Jonas Brothers.
“Nick’s basically already left the band,” one music insider tells me. “He’s committed to this tour — but once it’s done, he’s focusing fully on his solo career. He’s done playing the nostalgia game.”
And in the background? Frankie, 23, has quietly been leveling up. Sources say the once-meme’d “Bonus Jonas” has been training vocally, meeting with management, and even sitting in on private rehearsals — all while staying just under the radar.
“Frankie’s not the joke anymore,” says a source close to the family. “He’s taking this seriously — and so is the label.”
The move has been in the works for months, insiders say, as tensions quietly simmer behind the scenes. Nick has long felt creatively limited by the trio’s Disney legacy.
“He’s grateful for the band, but he doesn’t want to be doing this forever,” says one source. “He wants to be taken seriously — and that means moving on.”
But with fans still buying tickets and merch flying off the shelves, the brand itself is too big to fail. Enter: Frankie.
“Replacing a Jonas with a Jonas keeps the machine running,” says one industry insider. “It’s smart. It’s seamless. And fans love a redemption arc.”
Whether fans will accept Frankie remains to be seen — but one thing’s clear: the Jonas Brothers as we know them are on their last leg.
“This tour is the end of an era,” says a longtime crew member. “After this? It’s all changing.”
XOXO, Rob
