Jennifer Aniston isn’t shutting down those Pedro Pascal dating rumors — in fact, she might be fanning the flames.

After their cozy three-hour dinner at L.A.’s Tower Bar last month sent the internet into full ship-mode, Jen added fuel to the fire this week by posting a sweet birthday tribute to the Gladiator II star, calling him “as nice as he seems” and adding, “Happy Birthday PP!

Fans swooned. Headlines flew. But those in the know say: don’t hold your breath.

“How do I put this carefully?” one well-placed insider tells Naughty But Nice. “Pedro isn’t into Jen… or any other lady, for that matter.”

While Aniston, 56, is very much in on the joke — and enjoying the attention — it’s all playful press. “She thinks it’s hilarious,” says a friend. “She adores Pedro, but come on. She knows what is going on.”

For his part, Pascal, 50, has always been famously private about his personal life. But those close to him say the dinner with Jen was nothing more than two industry pals catching up — albeit photogenically.

“Jen’s not dating Pedro,” says the source. “But she’s also not mad at the idea. Let the people dream.”
