EXCLUSIVE: JENNIFER ANISTON DEMANDED PRIVATE LETTER TO MATTHEW PERRY BE PULLED FROM AUCTION

Hello, hello, hello…

Jennifer Aniston was devastated when she discovered a deeply personal letter she had written to Matthew Perry was headed to the auction block.

Sources tell Naughty But Nice that the actress immediately contacted those handling Perry’s estate and made it clear she did not want the private note sold—even if the proceeds were benefiting the Matthew Perry Foundation.

“Jen was shocked,” one insider tells me. “She never imagined something written from the heart to a close friend would be treated as a collectible.”

The emotional letter, written around the time Friends ended, contains Aniston’s private reflections on Perry’s struggles, their friendship, and her hopes for his future.

Sources insist Aniston fully supports efforts to honor Perry’s legacy and raise money for causes connected to his work helping others.

“Jennifer has enormous respect for the foundation,” says a source. “This was never about the charity. It was about protecting a private exchange between two friends.”

According to insiders, Aniston personally requested that the letter be removed from the auction.

“She felt strongly that some things aren’t meant for public consumption,” says a source close to the situation. “No matter how worthy the cause, this crossed a line for her.”

Her request was ultimately granted.

“Once Jennifer explained how much the letter meant to her, the decision became easy,” an insider reveals. “The letter was pulled from the sale and returned.”

For Aniston, the note was never memorabilia.

“It wasn’t an artifact,” says a friend. “It was a private conversation with someone she loved. Jennifer believes some memories simply cannot be priced.”
