EXCLUSIVE: JEFF BEZOS BANNED THIS A-LIST STAR FROM THE MET GALA

Hello, hello, hello…

Justin Theroux may have had one of the sharpest roles in The Devil Wears Prada 2 — but insiders say it also cost him a seat at fashion’s biggest night.

Sources tell Naughty But Nice that Theroux was quietly iced out of the Met Gala after portraying a thinly veiled version of Jeff Bezos in the sequel — and insiders say Bezos had absolutely no sense of humor about it.

“Justin’s character is Jeff, plain and simple,” one insider says. “And Jeff has zero sense of humor when the joke is about him — or Lauren. He can laugh at almost anything else. But mock him, mock her, and you’re done.”

In the film, Theroux plays a brutal Bezos stand-in opposite Emily Blunt, whose character is said to channel Lauren Sánchez. Sources say the two deliver such a savage send-up of the billionaire couple that once Bezos got wind of it, Theroux’s Met invite was finished.

“Jeff did not find it funny,” a second source says. “Not the parody, not the performance, not the Lauren angle — none of it. And once Jeff was offended, Justin was never getting through that door.”

With Bezos and Sánchez now positioned as the Met Gala’s top power players, insiders say Anna Wintour had no choice but to pick a side — and she chose the man writing the biggest checks.

“Anna follows power, and this year power came with Jeff’s money,” a source says. “Jeff paid too much to be mocked in his own room.”
