Multiple high-level legal sources tell me the Duchess of York has already been questioned by police in connection with Andrew — and investigators now view her as a significant witness in the widening misconduct probe.

Here’s what insiders are whispering: Ferguson is not believed to be a target — at least not right now.

“Andrew was always the objective,” one legal source tells me bluntly. “Sarah isn’t the headline. She’s leverage.”

Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office linked to allegations surrounding Jeffrey Epstein. If convicted, he faces the possibility of life behind bars.

But those close to the case say Ferguson’s cooperation could shape what happens next.
