EXCLUSIVE: CHARLES AND CAMILLA WILL SEE ANNA WINTOUR AND MARTHA STEWART IN NYC — BUT NOT HARRY, MEGHAN OR THE GRANDKIDS
Hello, hello, hello
When King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrive in the United States this week for a four-day visit split between Washington, D.C., and a single day in New York City, their schedule is already locked: diplomacy in the capital, followed by a polished Manhattan reception for the King’s Trust in NYC, where Anna Wintour and Martha Stewart are expected to greet the royal couple.
Noticeably missing? Prince Harry, Meghan Markle — and the grandchildren.
Insiders tell Naughty But Nice that the omission is no accident.
“Anna and Martha made the guest list. Harry and Meghan did not.”
Sources say Team Sussex quietly tried to arrange a private New York meeting with the King during the couple’s one-day stop in Manhattan — carefully positioned away from Washington, Trump, and the political optics of the U.S. trip.
For a brief moment, palace aides were open to the idea.
Then came Harry and Meghan’s latest quasi-royal tour of Australia — and everything changed.
“That trip killed it,” one insider says. “The palace saw the optics and pulled back fast.”
Harry, sources say, is still pushing hard for face time with his father. But palace aides remain deeply wary of what that meeting would actually deliver
My novel, It Started With A Whisper, is available now
“Harry’s concern isn’t family. It’s branding.”
And insiders say that is the real problem.
“Harry standing beside the King instantly looks official. One photo, one handshake, and suddenly he’s back looking tied to the Crown.”
That is exactly what Buckingham Palace is determined to avoid.
“The fear is simple: Harry doesn’t just get a private moment with his father — he gets fresh royal legitimacy.”
So while Charles and Camilla move from Washington power circles to Manhattan society, Harry remains firmly shut out.
“Harry still wants the meeting for all the wrong reasons. The palace wants distance.”

And remember… if you’re going to be naughty, you’ve got to be nice. 💋

Well....then it will be a good trip for the King, to be able to put Harry in his place after his stunts in Australia and the Ukraine. The King comes to visit which is nice but then has to clean up Harry's word babble messes.....nope! Ignoring H & M is the perfect answer for temper tantrums Harry is known for. Meghan however....the one that wears the trousers....will be more conniving than her spare todger, she will be determined to put a fly in the ointment. The King will step over the mess and carry on! :)
That makes sense.
Fun fact: King Charles has the distinction of taking two wives to the White House. Princess Diana and now Queen Camilla.
