Leah McSweeney’s lawsuit against Bravo is sending serious tremors through NBCUniversal — and insiders tell Naughty But Nice executives are already quietly discussing what Bravo’s future could look like without Andy Cohen.

While the network continues to publicly stand behind Cohen, sources say internal conversations have shifted dramatically since a federal judge ruled McSweeney’s lawsuit can move forward in open court. The decision opens the door to discovery, potentially exposing years of private emails, casting discussions, production decisions, and internal complaints.

“Discovery is what has everyone nervous,” one television insider says. “If internal communications become public, this suddenly becomes much bigger than one lawsuit.”

“There is absolutely a contingency plan,” another insider reveals. “Executives may still support Andy publicly, but privately they’re preparing for every possible outcome.”

Sources say no final decisions have been made, and many inside the company still believe Cohen could survive the controversy. But others see the lawsuit as a turning point.

“This case could ultimately define Andy’s future at Bravo,” one insider says. “And NBC wants to be prepared if the culture suddenly shifts against him.”
