Hello, hello, hello...
As another of Brad Pitt’s children moves to drop “Pitt” from their name, those close to the Oscar winner say the deepest wound has nothing to do with a surname. It’s the family he’s lost.
For years, Pitt believed time would heal the pain left by his split from Angelina Jolie. Friends now say sobriety has forced him to confront painful truths about his past and take responsibility for the mistakes he made along the way.
“Brad understands why the children feel the way they do,” one source tells Naughty But Nice. “He doesn’t put all the blame on Angelina. He knows he made mistakes too.”
Insiders say Pitt believes both parents played a role in where the family stands today.
“Getting sober meant taking responsibility,” the source says. “Brad has never claimed to be perfect. He’s accepted his share of what happened.”
But friends insist the real heartbreak isn’t the headlines or the legal filings—it’s the family ties that have quietly unraveled over the years.
“Brad’s father, William, is now in his eighties, and his mother, Jane, died in 2025 without ever seeing the family reunited,” a longtime pal tells Naughty But Nice. “Cousins who once grew up together are now strangers, and birthdays and holidays pass with empty chairs where loved ones should be.”
My novel, It Started With A Whisper, is available now
Despite the distance, sources say Pitt hasn’t given up hope. He quietly follows his children’s lives from afar and believes reconciliation can only happen when they’re ready.
“Brad is just looking for a chance to make this right,” the insider says. “He just wants his family back—and he’ll keep waiting for that day.”

And remember… if you’re going to be naughty, you’ve got to be nice. 💋

My mother brainwashed me into thinking my father was awful. As an adult I realized he was a good man. Not perfect but none of us are. However this resulted in me spending far less time with him than I should have.
I hope and pray those kids come around and figure out he is working on himself and he is not running around bad mouthing them.
Still waiting on an interview with Angie talking about her faults and what she is actively doing to correct them. Ghosting her father Jon Voight, her brother and the father of her children is not a good look.
