Ben Affleck isn’t being generous when it comes to Jennifer Lopez — insiders say he’s being strategic.

Sources tell Naughty But Nice the actor is ready to walk away from $30 million not as a gift, but as the price of total freedom.

“This isn’t him giving anything,” one insider says. “This is him paying to be done.”

The former couple’s Beverly Hills mansion — once their dream home — has become the final obstacle in a clean split.

“That house is the last tie,” the source explains. “And he wants it gone, fast.”

Even if that means taking a massive financial hit.

“He’d pay anything at this point,” the insider adds. “Because peace of mind is worth more than the money.”

No more negotiations. No more shared assets. No more connection.

Lopez may end up with full control of the property — and any future profits — but insiders say that’s beside the point.

“He’s not thinking about the upside,” the source says. “He’s thinking about being free.”

Translation?

“This isn’t generosity,” the insider says. “It’s self-preservation.”
