The Sussexes and Beckhams were once genuinely close. David and Victoria attended Harry and Meghan’s 2018 wedding, while David enjoyed a longstanding friendship with Harry.
Then came the accusation that blew everything apart.
After Meghan suspected private information was being leaked to the press, the Beckhams were blamed. Harry confronted David directly — leaving the soccer legend furious.
“That was the moment Victoria was done,” a London insider tells Naughty But Nice. “She believed Meghan questioned their loyalty and embarrassed David. Victoria can forgive plenty. Disloyalty isn’t one of them.”
Now Meghan is back in Britain — Victoria’s home turf.
And insiders warn anyone underestimating Beckham power is making a serious mistake.
“The UK may not be big enough for Meghan and Victoria,” says the source. “If London society is choosing tables, Victoria wins. The Beckhams have fashion, football, celebrities, billionaires, media and royalty. Meghan cannot compete with decades of those relationships.”

Sources say the bad blood has never truly disappeared.
“Victoria doesn’t need to attack Meghan,” adds the insider. “She has something much more powerful: relationships. People know where they stand with the Beckhams, and nobody wants to find themselves on the wrong side of Victoria.”
Harry has his battles with William.
Meghan now has her battles with Victoria.
And when it comes to London society, Posh has home-field advantage.
