EXCLUSIVE: ANDREW BLAMES KING CHARLES FOR HUMILIATING ARREST PHOTO
INSIDERS SAY DUKE BELIEVES PALACE ‘KNEW EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS DOING’
Hello, hello, hello… paranoia or palace chess?
Sources tell Naughty But Nice that Prince Andrew is privately seething over the now-iconic image of him slumped in the back of a Range Rover after a day in police custody — and believes someone inside the royal machine tipped off photographers.
And in Andrew’s mind? The trail leads upward.
“He thinks this was no accident,” one insider tells us. “Andrew believes the King understands exactly how the press game works — and how powerful one image can be.”

The photo, captured by Reuters photographer Phil Noble outside Aylsham police station, ricocheted around the globe. Pale, shaken, visibly rattled — it was a moment many saw as long-awaited accountability.
“For Andrew, it felt like a setup,” a source says. “He’s convinced someone high up knew he’d be there and made sure the press did too.”
That “someone,” insiders say Andrew suspects, is his brother, King Charles III.
“He thinks Charles sacrificed him to protect the institution,” the source adds. “In Andrew’s view, the monarchy needed a reckoning moment — and he was it.”
Palace insiders strongly deny any coordination.
Still, the image — Andrew’s expression of stunned panic — pierced the armor of royal prerogative in a way no statement ever could.
“That photo changed everything,” says one royal watcher. “And Andrew knows it.”
Cheers,
Rob
